On August 2nd, Con Amore was asked to attend and sponsor the New York Tech Meet Up with our good friends from Zaarly. We brought a three tier display cake and over 300 mini-cupcakes.
The display cake was decked out to truly represent our fine city. It featured the Brooklyn Bridge, Lady Liberty, the Q train, Citifield Stadium, the Empire State Building, and the Staten Island Ferry. Since it was the Tech MeetUp, we made an Android phone displaying the newly launched Zaarly app, and an iPad showing the NY Tech MeetUp logo to complete the design.
Aiming for variety, we brought four different flavored cupcakes: a Chocolate cupcake with Coffee buttercream, a Chocolate cupcake with Hazelnut buttercream, a Guinness cupcake, and last but not least a Rum and Coke cupcake. The cupcakes didn't stand a chance against the massive crowd and were all gone before the end.
By the way, today is Zaarly's Epic Happy Hour at their office, 40 West 23rd St., 6th floor. One catch, bring an awesome friend.
